Proper Bass Handling
Tournament anglers and organizers participating in summer bass tournaments should be extra aware of proper bass handling needs. KDFWR recommends that all bass anglers and tournament organizers review the B.A.S.S. sponsored manual, "Keeping Bass Alive", at the link below. KDFWR Fisheries Division endorses these procedures and recommends that all bass tournament sponsors and anglers adopt these as standard practices in their June – August tournaments when water temperatures are high.
These simple procedures can significantly increase the survival of tournament caught and released bass and will keep next year’s winning sack alive.

| THURSDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT RULES | |
| Place: | Boones Landing- AKA. Big Bone Creek Boat dock every Thursday night May through Oct.-2020. Weather and river permitting. |
| Sign-in time: | Starts at 5:30 pm, boat number drawn first come first served. |
| Tournament Ends: | Dusk- time determined the day of the tournament. |
| Qualifications: | Two fisher men or women per boat max. Single fisher man or woman acceptable. Youth under 16 fish free with a paid adult. |
| Big bass pot: | The prize money will go to the team or person who catches the heaviest fish. |
| Rules and off limits: | Will be discussed prior to the start of the tournament. |
| Entry fee: | $35.00 per boat- two fishermen or women max. $20.00 per boat with just a single fisher man or woman. |
| 5 fish limit: | 12” minimum in length, any Black bass species. Only live fish will be weighed in. |
2022 Year End BBCTN Open Bass Tournament
Fall Classic two-day tournament. TO BE ANNOUNCED. Must fish in two BBCTN open bass tournaments during 2022 season. Prizes, givaways, food, and more.
